Mark your calendars and dust off your dancing shoes — because the All-Ages Halloween Dance Party is here, brought to you by ArtSpring’s RoundTable Committee, Salt Spring Arts Council & StageCoach Theatre School! This year’s fang-tastic festivities feature live music from none other than Local Motion, Salt Spring’s 8 piece classic rock and blues band covering all the greats and featuring a special guest appearance from Shelder the Electric Clamfish.
Shelder the Electric Clamfish will open this night of spooky fun with her eclectic-art-folk compositions where she blends legends and folktales with psychedelic beats to create a deep-sea folk punk energy. Local Motion will finish the evening with their high-energy, powerhouse vocals, classic rock anthems and blues grooves that will keep the dance floor alive all night long. The band covers classics from artists like Led Zeppelin, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, and more — plus a few spooky surprises for Halloween!
