Peter Eyles‘ recent oil paintings will be exhibited during the month of May throughout the ArtSpring lobby. The artist completed a BFA degree at the University of Victoria in 1972. His work has previously been displayed in commercial galleries and group shows.
Peter’s inspiration comes from the natural beauty of the West Coast environment. Most of the scenes you’ll see are from Salt Spring Island. There are also two from Quadra Island and one from Saturna Island. Additionally, drawing is an important factor in Peter’s work as is the development of a painterly style. The abstracted pieces also show the new direction he is taking.
Come and enjoy the lobby exhibit weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the month of May.
