ArtSpring Newsletter August 10, 2020

Dear Friends,

With our Covid Safety plan in place we are looking forward to a gradual reopening.

There are only a few days left to participate in The Pandemic Limerick Project, a collaboration with the Salt Spring Island Public Library, and Salt Spring Island Foundation. Submit your five line limerick between July 27 and August 14. Limericks will be judged by three Salt Spring authors and two prizes will be awarded. BC residents of all ages welcome.

Renew or purchase your ArtSpring membership before the end of August and receive 5% off of ArtSpring Presents tickets for the 2020-21 season. New season starts in October.

With all best wishes,
Cicela Månsson

A grateful thank you!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Catherine and Bill Griffiths for their recent donation. Catherine says, “I would usually set aside money to spend at Treasure Fair, and I thought we would still give the same amount to ArtSpring as there is no Treasure Fair this year. I have truly missed the magic and mayhem and look forward to it in some form next year!”

And thanks as well to Pacific Rim Storage Salt Spring for their great service with trying to find a storage solution for us. Treasure Fair donation collections start again in Feb/Mar 2021.

Support us with the Thrifty Foods Smile Card program. If you already have a Smile Card from ArtSpring you can continue loading it up and we’ll receive 5%.

Don’t have a Smile Card from ArtSpring? Contact us – or 250.537.2102 – and we’ll happily put one in the mail for you. Please confirm which address you’d like it sent to.
