Volunteer Project Manager Patrick Beattie of the ArtSpring 2014 Roofing Project

At our recent Volunteer Appreciation event, we honoured the many community members that help to make ArtSpring thrive. THANK YOU to all of our stellar volunteers for your dedication and elbow grease!

This year, we honoured three volunteers that have made BIG impressions on us.

The first honoree is Alan Coombes. Alan has volunteered for EVERY dance performance in the last two years. He works side-by-side with ArtSpring Technical Director Marv Coulthard hanging lights, setting up the dance floor and much more.

Long-time ArtSpring volunteer Richard Moses is honored as well for his MANY contributions. He has been an ArtSpring Duty Manager for a decade – managing countless shifts like the early morning Saturday MET Opera broadcasts. He has stepped in time and time again when we’ve needed him at the last minute, always with good cheer. Richard also maintains the outdoor board that announces upcoming shows.

Our final honoree is Patrick Beattie who was the volunteer project manager of the ArtSpring 2014 roofing project. This was a BIG job. He was here so much during this project, some of us thought we was part of the contractor’s team rather than a volunteer!
