Rite of Spring

Today, May 29 2013, is the one hundredth anniversary of the first performance of Stravinsky’s famous ballet Le Sacre du Printemps. The Globe & Mail has an excellent article commemorating this anniversary and summarizing the momentous events that accompanied that premiere.

ArtSpring will present Ballet Victoria in a new choreography of Rite of Spring in March of 2014. Check our website in August for the exact date. Tickets will go on sale in September.
