The Salt Spring Forum presents globally-renown economist and well-being expert John Helliwell. Helliwell, a long-time Professor of Economics at UBC, currently co-directs the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research’s program on Social Interactions, Identity and Well-being. At the global level, Helliwell pioneered the incorporation of well-being and happiness into economic models.
