SS Forum Presents: Kent Rathwell, President of Sun Country Highway

Sustainability superhero Kent Rathwell is challenging and changing the Canadian business model. Through his company, Sun Country Highway, Rathwell built a Canada-wide network of free electric charging stations (including chargers on Salt Spring) to support the electric vehicle movement. Then, he made the cross-country journey in an electric vehicle during the middle of winter to prove it could be done.

Rathwell also built a successful birdseed business – Sun Country Farms – the first zero-emission company in Saskatchewan and the most sustainable birdseed company in the world.
