Images of Architecture is a retrospective of 45 years of architectural photography by Salt Spring photographer John Fulker. From 1959 until 2014 John Fulker specialized in photographing architecture for magazines and architects. Assignments took him throughout North America and to the Caribbean, UK and South Africa.
Upon retirement, Fulker donated all of his negatives to the West Vancouver Museum Archives where some 20,000 images are being catalogued and filed. In 2012 the museum put on a show of his work and in preparation for this they had many of the photographs reprinted and framed. The museum has generously allowed Fulker to use a number of these photographs alongside prints he made, some of which date back to 1960, in the upcoming ArtSpring exhibit.
The exhibit is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm.
