This year’s Imaginelle creation explores in greater depth the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly through laughter, movement, sound, the five elements, the four directions and ultimately through the lenses of our souls. Incorporating local performers of all ages, the ‘Imaginelle Collective’ (Naomi Jason, Rudy Hexter, Lesley Smith, Cat Wilson and Deanna Ziraldo) collaborate with community to pose the question: How can we understand and integrate rapid change as an inherent metamorphosis, on a personal level, within community, and in our world? Imaginelle explores the mediums of music and dance, and crafts a moment in time where reflection of this question and understanding of change is possible. Bringing people of all ages, beliefs and backgrounds together, Imaginelle urges us to move forward in creativity, cohesion and in honour of every aspect of life. The show promises to be a true evolution of the Imaginelle magic.
