In this 3 day workshop, students will be challenged to create a small series (3) of sculptural forms that relate to one another yet stand on their own as art pieces. Using a solid wool core and both needle and wet felting techniques, Andrea will guide students in translating images of inspiration from imagination to felt form.
Andrea Graham resides in Ontario, Canada with her husband and three sons. She has a passion for educating the public and her students in recognizing the complexities and qualities of handmade felt. Andrea has participated in many international juried and invitational exhibitions, solo and group shows, and has been featured in
publications around the world over the last decade. Andrea looks forward to continuing with her work based on environmental matters and the fact and fiction of plant life, specifically plants we consume, in both joint and solo exhibitions in 2014.
