Saxophonist Iain Duncan and B3 organist Nick Peck present an evening of jazz, blues, and bossa nova, with Hans Verhoeven on drums and surprise guests.
Now a Salt Spring local, Iain Duncan holds a Master of Music from the University of Victoria, where he has appeared in the Victoria Jazz Festival and various other venues. He is currently an interdisciplinary PhD student in Music.
Nick Peck is an award winning composer, pianist, and organist, originally from the UK, where he completed his Master of Music. Nick records for the Cellar Live Label and accompanies some of the country’s finest musicians.
Hans Verhoeven teaches at the Vancouver Island University. He holds a Master of Music from the University of Victoria, and is a regular at clubs and festivals, supporting local and touring musicians from across the country.
Cover is by donation at the door, cash or e-transfer. General admission seating. Music from 7pm-9:15pm with intermission. Doors open at 6pm.
