“Still Working Nine to Five”
Join us for a Free Admission Film, hosted by the Salt Spring Community Response Network and the Salt Spring Film Festival.
This award winning film highlights age-defying actresses and activists, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton and Jane Fonda, who comment on their original 1980 film that was the highest grossing comedy of that year. Although focused on gender discrimination, we know this intersects with racism, ableism, homophobia, and transphobia, all of which impact age discrimination and this ageism is costing society greatly. The United Nations promotes “Across Generations” for change. Elders and seniors attending with younger companions will receive a gift.
