A fond farewell to Cicela

We said a fond farewell last week to Cicela Månsson, who had been ArtSpring’s Executive & Artistic Director since 2014.

At the first ArtSpring Presents concert of 2022 (a beautiful performance by violinist Chloe Kim and violist Joanna Hood), our board president, Sandra Heath, made the presentation to Cicela, thanking her on behalf of the ArtSpring and Salt Spring Island community. It was an emotional evening for all, with a standing ovation for Cicela from everyone in the audience.

Cicela then handed over to our new EAD, Howard R Jang.

Thank you Cicela for your tireless championing of ArtSpring, the many wonderful seasons you curated, and the unending support to the staff, board, and volunteers. You will be much missed.
