ArtSpring is excited to announce the second annual Celebration of the Arts, taking place on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28. The Celebration, which corresponds with the opening of ArtSpring’s 2017-2018 performance season, honours ArtSpring’s role as a hub for all art forms on Salt Spring Island, not just the performing arts.

Children’s Activities Schedule (Free)

10 to 11:30 All ages printmaking and painting
11:30 to about 12:30 Christie Roome’s book reading followed by a collage activity. Maximum of 12 kids ages 6 and up.

1:30 to 3:00 Delaine will offer calligraphy. Maximum of 10 participant ages 8 and up (adults welcome to participate.

1:30 to 2:30 Shirley Bunyan will rehearse with the seniors choir in the Jankura Lounge (near the piano).
