Tuesdays-Fridays December 1-16 | 10am-2pm | and before all theatre events.
In these lushly colourful “mostly acrylic and mixed media” artworks, Lesley Burke aims to capture a closer, kinder, almost fantasy experience in contrast to the dreary isolation, solitary existence, and rigid regulations enforced on us through Covid.
Lesley studied fine arts at university, “jumping the pond,” as it were, between Canada and the UK. As a photographer she worked on projects for the Prince’s Trust, the Guardian newspaper, Electronic Arts, the Globe and Mail, and Via Magazine out of Montreal, among others.
She feels she has now returned to her element – painting.
