Children ages 7 to 14 will explore the work and life of the Dutch Master painter Vincent Van Gogh and replicate his style through carving, texturizing and sculpting clay plaques, painting self-portraits with acrylics on canvas, sketching local landscapes using pen, ink and charcoal, and by creating 3D oil pastel paintings. Students will view sections of Loving Vincent (the world’s first fully painted feature film) to learn about Van Gogh’s life and his painting and sketching style. Facilitated by Tracy Harrison, a multimedia visual artist, arts educator, and Art Therapist
