Mark Your Calendars and Make Your Lists!!  

Treasure Fair’s 2017 Catalog is up, and expanding every day. Over 300 treasures are posted online so far. Collectors get ready!

For weeks in advance of the Silent and Live Auction, Salt Springers have generously donated antiques, artworks, adventures, luxury stays, cultural events, wellness passes, essential and luxury services and belongings that need new homes.

We are still gratefully accepting donations until the end of June. For the event itself, July 13-15, volunteers are needed for display, picture hanging, monitoring, pick-ups, and kitchen. Be part of the fun!

Found Treasure Just Went Live on Catalog!

This is a matted original pastel costume design for The Taming of the Shrew ballet, which starred Karen Kain.
Susan Benson is a world renowned Set and Costume Designer for ballet, opera and theatre, responsible for the entire look of a production. Managing  various teams in the creation of her designs for many periods in history and in realms of fantasy, from shoes,  hats, leggings, dresses, embroidery,  capes, wings, masks, props, back drops, the list is astonishing.
Now living on  Salt Spring she is painting portraits and rendering pastel and charcoal landscapes. Her most recent show being in the Duthie Gallery.
She designed for the Stratford Festival of Canada for twenty-one seasons, where her productions included A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Maggie Smith.   Among her awards are eight Dora Mavor Moore Awards, a Jessie and an ACE, the Banff Centre National Arts Award for contributions to the Arts in Canada and Canadian Actors’ Equity Award for outstanding contributions to the Theatre and Performing Arts in Canada
