Lucas Wolf is a self-taught Canadian born contemporary artist best known for bold minimalist monochromatic abstract paintings. His process involves the deconstruction and active examination of underlying truths. His raw unencumbered work often referencing the movement and shadows of his narratives. A meditation on gesture, symbol, beauty, and impermanence.
Patrick McCallum is a Salt Spring Island-based representational artist working primarily with the human figure. His work explores elements of shame, power, and sexuality in environments where his characters are provoked or overwhelmed. Focussing on the contextualization of the human figure, he works to re-identify, or renew our response to the body in representational art.
