The Leap by Wendy Wickland

Wendy Wickland, Dulcy Wilson and Judith Borbas fill the ArtSpring lobby with paintings during the month of June for their show No Restrictions: Three Women, Three Journeys. These three artists paint together once a week. They find that their work is enriched by this regular sharing of ideas and inspiration as they celebrate the successes and critique the failures. As a result of their diverse backgrounds and different painting styles, the collaboration continually challenges each artist to explore new approaches. They often gain different perspectives from each other’s work and then the journey begins—sometimes accompanied by fear, but always full of excitement and often with the result of totally unique paintings.

The exhibit is open weekdays-only from 9 am to 5 pm and during performances.
