Salt Spring residents were invited in January to submit selfies that they felt said something about who they viewed themselves to be. A group of four high-school media arts students are curating the resulting submissions and producing a video installation to be shown in ArtSpring’s back gallery throughout the duration of Here’s Looking at You. New technology in the hands of young artist/curators – who knows what the result will be, but it will be fresh and unusual for sure.
