“Viva Chorale!”, directed by Caroni Young and accompanied by Diana English, sings “The World of Small,” a tribute to Emily Carr, renowned West Coast artist and author. From the beauty of nature, to music celebrating First Nations people…from the colours of Emily’s art to the fun of her money and chickens…this concert will show vignettes of Emily’s life.

The program includes the Emily Carr Suite and Klee Wyck by Brian Tate; plus songs arranged by John Rutter, Alice Parker, Larry Nickel and others. Artwork from SSI Middle School will be projected during the evening.
