Viva Chorale! is proud to present its spring concert Canadian Soundscapes with Musical Director Deb Toole and accompanist Chris Kodaly. This program is an opportunity to reflect on Canada and being Canadian. The first half of the program is devoted to the geography and the natural elements of our country that connect us. Viva Chorale! also premiers a new composition it commissioned from composer Sarah Quartel called The Wind that Makes Us One.

The second half of the program is about Canada’s people and touches on Canada’s many regions. All pieces in the program have been composed by Canadians and in most cases the words have been generated by Canadian poets.
