“Creativity is a spiritual path,” writes photographer David Baughan, whose show, Visible Traces, is being exhibited throughout December (weekdays 9am to 5pm) in the ArtSpring lobby. “Without creativity there is little purpose to our existence.”

David has followed a creative path most of his life and is now looking back to reflect on where he has come from artistically and where the path might lead next.

In selecting images from shows he has held around the world since the 1970s, he examines major themes in his photography. These include the comparison between human-made and naturally shaped objects; light versus dark; and a meditation on nature’s simplicity and wholeness.
