Join Bob Rogers and Wendy A. Rosier for the opening reception of their photography exhibit Up Close & Personal. The show’s subject matter ranges from Rosier’s Qi Series of macro/close up florals through to Rogers’ explorations of just about everything else.

Both became serious about their photography in the mid ‘70’s and share similar philosophies as to why they choose photography as an artistic medium. They met in 2003 at ArtSpring when Rosier was on its board and they have been collaborating ever since.

Rosier classically trained in the fine arts at the Art Institue of Chicago and has had group and solo exhibits in the US, Canada and France. Rogers has taken photographs in three continents. He photographs to capture the moment and share it with others, and photographs every day. Both are members of the Salt Spring Island Photography Club.

The exhibit is open daily from September 13-21 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
