As part of the Salt Spring Public Library’s March Focus on Women celebration, VICKI GABEREAU, best known for her work as a journalist and television personality, will speak on Wednesday, March 19 at 7 pm at ArtSpring. Vicki will talk about ‘reinvention after retirement’; she’s now in the shoe business in Vancouver. Please bring a pair of shoes—expensive ones you couldn’t afford and don’t wear, an outrageous pair, old ones you can’t get rid of. Vicki will have interviews to talk about your shoes. Tickets are $20 as a fundraiser for the Library’s Art program and are available at ArtSpring.
