An educational seminar on cannabis will be held in the ArtSpring gallery featuring guest speaker Dr. Paul Hornby who has been in cannabis research for 15 + years. Dr. Hornby is one of the most knowledgable people in all of Canada on this topic and has lectured around the world educating his peers and others about this amazing plant. The two main topics the seminar will cover is what cannabis has to offer us not only medicinally, but also nutritionally. Cannabis has a major role to play in not only disease prevention, but also for its powerful ability to help support the body’s own inherent healing mechanisms. The goal of the seminar is to educate people on what some of the key compounds that are in the cannabis plant, how they work and to encourage people to look at adding some or more cannabis to their daily lives.
