The Artist’s Journey Art Auction will take place in ArtSpring’s gallery space. It will be officially opened at 3:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon by Ann Mortifee, honourary director of the Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island Society. The public is invited to join Ann Mortifee and husband Paul Horn for afternoon tea in the gallery while viewing the artwork.

Later in the day, Ann Mortifee will speak at 7:00 p.m. in the gallery on her venture into the Trust for Sustainable Forestry and the children of Cortes will end the evening by announcing the auction winners at 9:00 p.m. Artists of all disciplines have contributed to the auction, making for an exceptionally interesting and eclectic collection of artwork. Artwork will be posted online for public viewing two weeks prior to the Artspring event.

Sealed bids in person will be accepted 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Nov, 23 at Artspring.
