Description: jOnezi is a len’s based multi-media artist who has created the majority of his later biG artworks here on ‘the Rock’ i.e. Salt Spring Island. Fresh from his exposition at Art! Vancouver 2016 where he premiered his large scale artworks, jOnezi presents a larger collection of his creations. He loves biG and prime examples are what he calls his ‘post conceptual, neo pop abstract series titled: ‘tErminal ciTy rUst’ derived from his abstract macro photographs of the former dystopian Vancouver film location Terminal City Ironworks. Continuing, ‘the hAnging gArdens oF tErminal ciTy’ is a  free standing 8’x12’x 8′ installation featuring numerous found objects transformed into colourful  neo-Readymades doubling as a post conceptual ‘Celebration of Life’ giant mobile.

jOnezi also loves to travel and his distinct perspective on the ancient city of Petra, Jordan is revealed in his very unique abstract mixed media paintings and photographs titled ‘cEilings oF pEtra’.
