Re-Imagined – Creating Art from Waste!

Did you know the Hartland Landfill, the destination for Salt Spring’s garbage, is filling up? It’s a big problem. What can we do to keep waste out of the landfill? Make art! There are endless possibilities!

For inspiration, visit the Re-Imagined exhibition at ArtSpring from March 14 – 26th. Twenty-seven artists are showing 35+ works, plus prints from 9 school classes (K-12). It will be an extravaganza of colour, waste materials, and designs.

Hosted by the Salt Spring Island Printmakers and opened up to the whole community, the show has attracted works from artists working in all kinds of media. Be prepared to be amazed!
