“She Said” is an art exhibit featuring the work of Sam Barlow, Julie Howard, Meghan McKillop, Ahava Shira, and Charlene Wolff at Art Spring November 10-17. Their work explores how we retell and rebel against the stories we have been told in order to gather wisdom and create new versions of what it means to be a woman. Through film, written and spoken word, mixed media collage and plaster sculpture, the exhibit seeks both to recognize and revision women’s ways of telling our stories.

She Said is the work of 5 women who have been making art that honours the evolving stories of our lives. We are committed to creating work that inspires women of all ages to share their own stories while provoking dialogue and discussion about the art of women’s narratives.
