Salt Spring’s own virtuoso cellist Paula Kiffner teams up with Pamela Highbaugh-Aloni, cellist with Victoria’s Lafayette String Quartet. A former member of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Paula appears frequently as a recitalist and concerto soloist throughout the Pacific Northwest. Pamela has been an Artist-in-Residence at the University of Victoria since 1991 where she teaches both cello and chamber music courses. Jamie Syer will provide piano accompaniment to repertoire from Murray Adaskin, Reinhold Glière and Bela Bartok. Garry Oaks wine tasting – 1:30pm
