The Salt Spring Island Painters’ Guild Annual Summer Art Show and Sale returns this August. Island Eyes is an eclectic mix of contemporary art in all mediums and will showcase many of the 100-plus talented artists in the guild. The show will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the opening reception takes place on Friday, Aug. 16th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Choose from framed works, shrink-wrapped originals and/or cards. For the first time the Painters’ Guild is delighted to offer a “Clothesline Art Sale” where small unframed original pieces are hung up on a clothesline to be viewed and purchased at very reasonable prices.
