ArtSpring Presents a dance workshop for community dancers at the GISS Dance Studio with Out Innerspace artistic co-director & performer Tiffany Tregarthen.

In this workshop, Tiffany focuses on creative play that transforms everyday things like words, bodies, patterns, nature into dialogue, dance and composition. As part of a new and dynamic generation of emerging artists, Out Innerspace is passionately devoted to its role in the future of dance in Canada. Tiffany is very excited to be returning to Salt Spring to share her dance skills and enthusiasm with the dance community. (Please note that the workshop is suitable for dancers of all skills & abilities aged 7+.)

Tiffany Tregarthen was born in Prince George where she began her dance training in ballet, jazz and tap. She has worked with Mia Michaels’ R.A.W.; POZ Dance Theatre in Seoul, Korea; and has held residencies in Antwerp, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. In 2007 she co-founded Out Innerspace Dance Theatre with David Raymond. They teach a nine month program, Modus Operandi, for young emerging dance professionals in Vancouver where they presently live. Tiffany also performs with Wen Wei Dance.
