Figura is an amazing one-man theatre company based in Iceland which, since 1986, has created work for puppets unlike anything you have ever seen. Bernd Ogrodnik’s creations are influenced by his background as a classical musician, illustrator, woodworker and martial artist. He describes his extraordinary performances as “food for the soul, not chewing gum for the eyes.”

While on Salt Spring, he will present two shows: Metamorphosis, a collection of short works for an adult and family audience on Sunday afternoon, and Peter and the Wolf for school audiences on Monday.
