Plant music, is music played by plants. With technology, plants have the possibility to express themselves through the language of human music.
The Masterplants Orchestra is a symphony created with eight plants and a human being. Their natural electric currents are measured and divided into scales and rhythms easily understood by humans. This is an art form which includes nature and environment, science and technology, music, myth, spirituality and direct experience. We’re not just composing music, but harmonising with Mother Nature herself.
Tritone Crisantemo, from the spiritual community of Damanhur in Italy, is the human component of this interspecies concert and the driving force behind the Masterplants Project. With over 100 concerts worldwide, this is their first tour in Canada!
