These new works by Mary Laucks bring together different strands of her latest explorations in abstraction. In a series of smaller paintings and two large paintings, she returns again to the abstraction of a human figure in motion. Another strand of this work explores the Hans Hoffman ideas of  “push and pull” and the placement of colour in the landscape of the rectangle. A large op-art piece – an ode to the hexagon – will twist your mind. Come visit and see if these different pieces speak to each other!
