Explore your creative process and develop your style with Mary Fox. In this exciting workshop, Mary will discuss how she became the potter she is today. She will also do some demonstrations of throwing and hand-building, and answer questions. She will explore how a personal style is developed as well as the creative process. Participants are encouraged to bring pieces they are having trouble for a critique. Please note this workshop will not be hands on.
Mary Fox is a self-taught ceramic artist who first encountered clay at age 13 and knew very quickly this was to be her life’s work and pleasure. She has worked solely as a potter since age 19 and exhibits regularly nationally and internationally. Her innovative creations have established her reputation as a dedicated and exacting crafts person in her field. She delights in the challenge of creating contemporary works based on classic lines. Mary lives and works in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada.
