Looking Up is a joint art exhibit by longtime friends Suzanne Prendergast and Bill Underwood. Suzanne primarily works in watercolor, colored pencil, and printmaking while Bill’s focus is exclusively photography. Their decision to exhibit together was based on the idea that visual art is a ‘big tent,’ one that comfortably accommodates vastly different methods, sensibilities, and subject matter. Bill and Suzanne’s hope is that viewers enjoy the individual pieces as well as the artists’ contrasting ways of looking at and interpreting the world.
