Join ArtSpring’s Technical Director, Marv Coulthard, for this twelve-week course. Learn about the history of theatre lighting, the latest technology of moving lights and LED fixtures, and how to light for stage, television, and film. Gain hands on experience in safely hanging fixtures, changing lamps, operating dimmer boards and more.

Marv has 50 years of experience in film, television and theatre, and has worked at ArtSpring for the last fourteen years. He is a Certified Electronics Technician, has been a member of the Audio Engineering Society since 1974, has his OHSA Rigging certificate as well as a pyrotechnical certificate.
