Over the years, his work has evolved from black and white commercial work to digital interpretations influenced by the years of working with historic alternative photos that passed through his business. “I love the warm and romantic look of the old tin types and daguerreotypes”. Those old processes created a unique look via their primitive and sometimes dangerous technologies. With the advent of digital imagery and post camera processes, I can safely dabble in that same image interpretations.
“I look for the soft, fleeting light that appears out of the corner of the eye and is there for those who are aware and prepared. When it comes to me, I raise my camera, give thanks and squeeze the shutter. All of my images are archival hand prints signed by me.”
