Join us for the opening of the Emily Carr, Georgia O’Keefe & Frida Kahlo Kid Size Exhibit and for a public film screening of BONE WIND FIRE, by Jill Sharpe. This film is an intimate and evocative journey into the hearts, minds, and eyes of Georgia O’Keeffe, Emily Carr, and Frida Kahlo. They are three of the twentieth century’s most remarkable artists and the subjects of this year’s children’s art exhibit. Filmmaker and painter Jill Sharpe will give an artist’s talk on her seven-year process of making the film and painting a body of work inspired by it. (The film is approximately 30 minutes.)
