We all fell in love with Joyce Yang last season when she substituted for an unwell Angela Cheng to play with Augustin Hadelich.

She is a superb pianist, silver medalist at the 2005 Van Cliburn International Competition, and 2010 Avery Fisher Career Grant winner, one of the most prestigious prizes in classical music. More importantly, she charmed us all with her superb technique and captivating stage presence. Joyce will perform in February with the Vancouver Symphony and we have taken the opportunity to kidnap her back to Salt Spring for a recital of her choice.
