Join Ulrieke Benner‘s innovative workshop to create uniquely pleated and sculptured accessories. Learn how to sculpt your nuno felted fabrics by using both hand pleating and resist stitching techniques to manipulate areas of silk and wool fabrics.

Explore the rich textural qualities that are possible with pleating through sampling of a variety of techniques and processes. Be casual or exact then use these skills for your personal artistic expression. A neckpiece, collar, boa, infinity scarf, wrap, or immerse yourself into yardage for clothing.

This is a subject-focused workshop that is suitable for any level of experience. The workshop will begin and then the instructor will work with participants individually, guiding them both technically and artistically.
