A Rockin’ Night at ArtSpring!
All aboard for The Grand Illusion, opening July 29 for 6 performances at ArtSpring! This thematic rock musical involves a group of troubadours bringing great hit tunes to every port of call. Brought to you by the people who gave you Peter on the Brink last year. Directors Suzanna Laine and Karen Arney have assembled a talented group of local performers for this lively and humorous production: Ben Arney, Ashton Bachman, Daniel Hunter, Aryana Lloyd-Walters, Shyla-Rae Lloyd-Walters, Scott Merrick, Dave Milutinovic, Marcel Rouger, Sophie Rouger, Gwen Patrick, Sarah Robinson, Jim Schultz, and Karen Arney herself. Audience members are encouraged to have some fun and come dressed in the steam punk theme. Not familiar with steam punk? Check out the posters for The Grand Illusion around town. And have some extra fun with the program, trying to guess upcoming songs by the hints given! Performances are at ArtSpring, at 7:30 pm on July 29, 30, 31, August 4, 5, 6.
