God is a Scottish Drag Queen: a two act comedy of Biblical proportions!
God, dressed in a floral power suit, comes to skewer everything from Justin Bieber to the Pope in an unforgettable night of laughter!
God is a Scottish Drag Queen is based on the character created by comedian Mike Delamont and playwright Jacob Richmond (Ride the Cyclone) for the hit cult cabaret Atomic Vaudeville. In 2011, Mike Delamont turned all sketches he had written into a full hour long show and began to tour is on the Fringe Festival circuit to massive critical acclaim. Today, God is a Scottish Drag Queen (and its sequels) is one of the highest grossing shows on the international Fringe circuit. The show features an evening with the lord: a hilarious conversation with everyone’s favourite deity about everything from religion to pop culture including Mormons, circumcision, Star Wars, Scientology, Noah, Adam & Eve, and so much more in an unforgettable night of comedy.
Mike Delamont is a comedian based on the West Coast. He is an original cast member of the cabaret Atomic Vaudeville and has been performing one man shows since 2010. He has appeared on CBC’s The Debaters, SiriusXM’s Top Comic, Halifax Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs and is a three-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee.
