This vibrant, energy-packed performance includes new student choreography from the GISS studio. More than 50 teens have endeavoured to offer the audience a glimpse into the world of youth, through the art of dance. The show includes Kathryn Walker’s choreography, a fusion of sporadic shapes linked with a smooth flow: all to Rhianna’s new hit, “Desperado”. The super-sister team of Charlotte and Darby McIntyre have created a bouncy upbeat celebration of jazz in their new piece, “That Man”. The GISPA dancers have prepared a new piece about accepting our own bodies, and inviting us to feel great about our physical selves accompanied by the spoken word slam poem, “Body Love”. With three dance classes creating works for the stage, this show offers the audience a rich, vibrant, and celebratory experience. Come on out to support these great teens.
