The Gulf Islands School of Performing Arts (GISPA) proudly presents A Wrinkle in Time. Adapted from Madeleine L’Engle’s classic novel. A Wrinkle in Time upholds GISPA’s signature fusion of music, dance, and theatre with a resetting of this story of light triumphing over darkness. Featuring student created choreography, composition and ensemble acting, Wrinkle in Time is not to be missed.
One of literature’s most enduring young heroines, Meg Murry, is back. She’s joining forces with Mrs. Whatsit, Charles Wallace, Calvin O’Keefe and more to battle the forces of evil so she can rescue her father, save humanity, and find herself. In the end, we know two things for sure: 1. Love CAN overcome evil and 2. There IS such a thing as a tesseract.
These talented GISPA students have collectively created, composed, choreographed and developed A Wrinkle in Time under the direction of Michelle Footz (music), Sonia Langer (dance) and Jason Donaldson (theatre).
