Join us for a poetry reading with Don McKay, one of Canada’s finest poets. Don’s newest book, Angular Unconformity, is a collection of previously published poetry as well as a handful of new poems and a whimsical, meditative afterword by the author. The evening will open with a reading by two Salt Spring poets, Chris Smart and George Sipos.

Over a span of more than forty years, Don McKay has been writing and publishing poetry and essays. Don has won several awards including two Governor General’s Awards and one Griffin Poetry Prize. In 2009, he was appointed to the Order of Canada. Angular Unconformity presents, for the first time, the collected poetic works of one of Canada’s preeminent writers in a stunning, cloth-bound edition.
