This evening presented by the Salt Spring Forum, will feature Chantal Hébert, one of Canada’s most prominent political thinkers and commentators. Hébert’s talk, French Kiss – The Role of Quebec in Canadian Politics, is sure to be thought-provoking and insightful.
In Hébert’s book, French Kiss: Stephen Harper’s Blind Date with Quebec, Chantal Hébert argues that the Canadian federation died on January 23, 2006, the night of the federal election. French Kiss examines how the Conservative Party’s relationship with Quebec has and will continue to shape and influence Canadian politics.
Chantal Hébert is a national affairs writer with the Toronto Star as well as a guest columnist for Le Devoir. She is a weekly participant on the political panel at Issue on CBC’s The National. Join the Salt Spring Forum for a community discussion with Chantal Hébert at Artspring.
