Blair Francis: Acoustic, Folk, Spanish Guitar & Reggae

“My name is Blair Francis, and I am a Salt Spring based singer-songwriter who uses my music and lyrics to uplift and awaken the hearts and souls of my fellow spiritual brothers and sisters all around the world. I’ve lived on SSI for 10 years now, and have really grown with the community, regularly offering my musical services to Dance Temple, the Mateada, Majik Kids & Majik Media, the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga, the Wellness Centre, Ganges Yoga Studio, Transition Salt Spring, as well as being a beloved music teacher for dozens of students over the years. I’ve also lead a regular Vocal Freedom singing every week for the last 2 years, and have organized and hosted Concert on the Canal for the last 3 years.

My music reflects my spiritual journey, exploring Yoga, Meditation, Permaculture, Gnostic Christianity, Plant Medicine, Community Living, and Oneness. I have a sincere love for all music that celebrates and supports a world of Peace, Love and Harmony for all beings including Mantras, Medicine Songs, Kirtan, Rainbow Songs, Devotional Hymns, as well as my own original composed songs that alchemize all of these styles. My performance style is a blend of folk, acoustic, finger-style spanish guitar and reggae. I enjoy filling out my solo performances with my live-looper, incorporating percussion, bass, keys and vocal harmonies.”
